DigiZINE is a digital entertainment magazine that was published on CD-ROM.[1]
Release status[]
DigiZINE was developed for Windows and Macintosh, and began publication in November 1995 as a series of hybrid CD-ROMs by Ahrens Interactive of Chicago, Illinois.[2] The discs could be supplemented with updated content through an internet connection using Ahrens' exclusive "WebROM" technology.[3]
It was licensed by Katz Media in 1997 for release in the European market.[1] However, it is uncertain whether DigiZINE had ever been released for the Pippin platform as Katz Media was still seeking distribution partners at the time.[4]
