Sitting on the Farm (農場はおおさわざ) is an edutainment CD-ROM that had been announced for the Pippin platform.[1] The Japanese title 「農場はおおさわざ」 translates to "The farm is big".
Release status[]
Sitting on the Farm was announced in the early promotional CD-ROM What is Pippin? as an upcoming release from Sanctuary Woods.[1][2] However, no other information was provided online from Bandai about the Pippin version,[3] which is presumed to have been cancelled.[4]
A Windows 3.1 version had been released in the United States and Canada by Sanctuary Woods in 1993 and 1994.[5][6] A Macintosh version was released in March 1998 with a teacher's guide.[7] The North American releases were localized into English and French.[8] A UK version for Windows was released by Focus Essential and localized into English, French and Spanish.[9]
