Tanjou: Debut (誕生 〜デビュー〜) is a social simulation CD-ROM game that had been announced for the Pippin Atmark console.[1] It is based on the 1994 anime OVA of the same name.[2]

Tanjou: Debut was developed by NEC Avenue under license from Headroom and first released in Japan on June 25, 1993 on two floppy disks for NEC's PC-9801 system.[3][4] NEC promoted a CD-ROM version for with their upcoming PC Engine Duo system at the Tokyo Toy Show in June 1994.[5]

A version for Fujitsu Micro's FM Towns was released in Japan on April 8, 1994 by Data West (データウエスト) for Fujitsu Micro's FM Towns system. NEC Avenue released the version for PC Engine CD-ROM² and PC Engine Duo on September 22, 1994. Versions for Macintosh and Bandai's WonderSwan handheld console were released in Japan on February 24, 2000 by Bandai Visual and Emotion, respectively.[3][4]

A Pippin version had been announced in the December 1996 issue of Pippin Atmark Channel Press,[1] but was never released by Bandai Visual.[6]
