Compton's Interactive Encyclopedia: @World Edition is a CD-ROM reference title for Pippin consoles that combines the content of Compton's 1994 Encyclopedia with digital images, audiovisual media and hyperlinks.[1]

Compton's Interactive Encyclopedia was developed by SoftKey Multimedia.[2]
The Pippin version was released in December 1996 by Bandai Digital Entertainment with the launch of the Pippin @WORLD console in the United States.[3] The exterior box packaging design is unusual among Pippin @WORLD titles in that the Pippin logo is missing from the front top right corner.[1]
Collectibility[]
Due to its rarity, a specimen with the original blue box can fetch hundreds of dollars at auction sites.[4]
