Interpose is a side-scrolling shooter game that had been licensed by Katz Media.[1]
Features[]
The game features 23 levels of side-scrolling action with a music soundtrack and animated cinematics. The goal is to shoot enemy ships while using energy and special weapons prudently.[2]
Release status[]
Interpose was developed for DOS by Twilight Zone Software. It was released in 1996 in the United States and Canada by Webfoot Technologies, and licensed for release in Europe and Asia by Katz Media.[3][4]
However, it is uncertain whether Interpose had ever been ported to the Pippin platform as Katz Media was seeking distribution partners at the time.[5]
Interpose X-mas Greetings, a holiday-themed version of the game, was released later in 1996 by Webfoot Technologies.[6]
