Janosch is a series of children's edutainment CD-ROMs that had been announced for the Pippin platform, based on characters from the German-language children's book series that began with Oh, wie schön ist Panama by Silesian author Janosch.[1]

Release status[]

Janosch: Der kleine Tiger braucht ein Fahrrad and Janosch: Ich mach dich gesund, sagte der Bär were released by Navigo Multimedia in Austria, Germany and Switzerland for Macintosh and Windows 3.1 in 1996. Janosch: Ich mach dich gesund, sagte der Bär was released for Macintosh and Windows 3.1/95 in April 1997.[2]

"Pippinized" versions for the upcoming KMP 2000 console had been announced by Katz Media in September 1996,[1] but were never released.[3]

Janosch: Oh wie schön ist Panama was later released in 2003 for Macintosh and Windows XP by Terzio Verlag.[4]
