My Favorite Monster was developed by Cute Company, a division of Schoolscape, and released in the United States by Simon & Schuster Interactive for Macintosh in May 1995 and Windows in February 1996.[2][3][4] A hybrid version was released in 1996 under the title Monster Fun and Learning: Mooky-Oke – My Favorite Monster.[5]
A separate Pippin port had been mentioned through media coverage. However, it was never released for the platform.[1][6]
