Nobunaga's Ambition Returns (信長の野望 リターンズ) is a turn-based strategy game on CD-ROM for the Pippin Atmark console. It is a remake of the first game in the Nobunaga's Ambition series, based on real-life Japanese warlord Oda Nobunaga.[1]

ReleasesEdit

Nobunaga's Ambition Returns was originally developed by Koei and released in Japan for Windows 3.1 in 1995. The Saturn and PlayStation console versions were released in Japan on March 29, 1996 and August 2, 1996, respectively.[2][3][4] It was updated for Windows 95 in 1996 and re-released for Windows 98 on January 22, 1999.[5]

The Pippin version was released in Japan by Bandai Digital Entertainment in 1996.[1]
