The Pippin Zip dock is an expansion dock that had been announced for Pippin consoles.[1]
Hardware[]
Bandai discussed development of an optional dock for the Pippin @WORLD console with Iomega in 1996.[2] It would have contained a Zip drive from Iomega with the ability to read and write to 100MB disks.[1]
Release[]
Bandai Digital Entertainment announced the Pippin Zip dock on June 18, 1996,[1] and had scheduled to release it sometime in early 1997.[3] A prototype was reportedly tested in Japan, but it is not known to have been released.[4]
