Pod (ポツド) is a bimonthly pop culture magazine that was published digitally on CD-ROM.[1]
Release status[]
Pod was first published in Japan in December 1994; each featured a hybrid CD-ROM authored with Macromedia Director by Peace on Demand (ピース・オン・デマンド) and JTplanning for Windows and Macintosh.[1][2]
A Pippin version of the CD-ROM had been announced in Bandai's Pippin Title CD-ROM Catalog for Summer 1996. However, the disc bundled with volume 7 (that was shown in the catalog) was not "Pippinized". It was mastered in December 1995, before the Pippin Atmark was released, and only supported Macintosh and Windows.[3]
